Valentine Race for Justice 4 Mile

Traci Seto ran the 4 mile race in a time of 30:13 earning 3rd place in her age group (55-59); well done Traci!

David Ortiz completed the 4 miler in a time of 53:50; great job David!

Vianey Ortiz ran the race in a time of 38:02; with an excellent stride; way to go Vianey!

Michael Trotta ran a strong race to finish in a time of 35:51; great work Michael your running is ever improving; keep going!

Richard King earned 1st male finisher and 1st in his group (55-59) in the 4 Mile Ainsley’s Angels Category with a time of 40:09; way to go Rich living up to your namesake by being the King of Hearts!

Mike Tiska ran the 4 mile in a time of 30:52; great job Mike your consistent training is paying off! Mike also didi this run off of zero sleep due to working an over nighter the night before; remarkable Mike!

Andy Harris ran the 4 miler in a time of 34:55; well done Andy running strong!

Shane Curren earned 3rd in his age group (65-69) with a time of 28:48; great job Shane your fitness has improved dramatically due to your diligent training; well done!

Mariano Meza completed the 4 mile race in a time of 42:12; great job Mariano keep at it!

Steve Bond ran a strong race to finish in a time of 32:43; great job Steve! Here is Steve in his own words:

“8:07 pace for 4.03 miles per my Garmin which makes it my third best age graded race out of 25 dating back to the end of 2023. The best four have been the last four, so hopefully I can keep that going in the right direction! 17 Seconds faster than last year!”

Camel earned 3rd place in her age group (65-69) with a time of 37:57; great work as always Camel!

John Painting ran an excellent race to complete the 4 miler in a time of 30:19; great job John; your speed is building with every race!

Kevin Cimini turned up with a time of 37:25; well done Kevin!

Ron Souza ran to 3rd place in his age group (70-74) with a time of 32:44; well done Ron!

Lynn Marshall earned 2nd place in her age group (65-69) with a time of 37:52; way to go Lynn, very impressive!

Steve Swindel ran the 4 miler in a time of 48:41; great job Steve way to represent!

John Gibson ran the 4 miler in a time of 28:56; great work John!

Ruben Rodriguez earned 2nd place in his age division (60-64) with a time of 28:17; very strong race Ruben, fantastic!

Davis Stampede

Ampee Villamor Haynes completed the half marathon in a time of 2 hours and 8 minutes; way to go Ampee!

Chris Koris ran a very strong 5K to finish in 20:32 earning 1st place in his age division (65-69); excellent work Chris very rapid!

Andy Harris completed the half marathon in a time of 2 hours and 28 minutes; way to go Andy!

Mike Tiska ran the half marathon in a time of 1 hour and 49 minutes; great work Michael!

Rock’n Roll Vegas 10K

Liza Medina ran the 10K in Vegas in a time of 1 hour and 12 minutes this is what she had to say about it:

“Goal: Survive without cracking the toe more, mission accomplished! It’s going to be the year of re-building”

Auburn Resolution Run 5K,10K, 10 Miles

Camel ran the 10K in a time of 1 hour and 36 minutes; way to start the year off right!

John Painting smashed the 10K course in a time of 1 hour and 7 minutes earning 3rd place in his age group (60-69); great job John!

Suzie Oyoung took on the long course (10 miles) completing it in a time fo 2 hours and 28 minutes to earn 3rd place in her age group (60-69); well done Suzie, way to represent!

Rich King blitzed the 10K in a time of 1 hour and 21 minutes; great job Rich way to ring in the new year strong!

USATF National Club Cross Country Championships 8K Tallahassee Florida

We fielded two teams to run the Club Cross Country Championships: a Mens 60+ team and a Men’s 70+ team.

The 60+ team was composed of Randy Anderson, John Painting, and Andy Harris.

The 70+ team was composed of David Howse, Mike Buzbee, Gil Machado, and Ron Souza.

Michael Tiska ran individually in the 50+ age group.

The 60 and 70 age group teams ran the 8K course with Mike Tiska running the 10K course.

The 60+ team came in 20th place with a score of 222 points.

The 70+ team came in 9th with 92 points.

The course was a 2 kilometer loop with 4 loops for the 8k and 5 loops for the 10K respectively.

The course while largely taking place on a rolling golf course did include an artificial hill known as the ‘rollercoaster’, adding to the challenge and spectacle of the race.

The team met Kenyan running legend Paul Tergat at the airport too! Very cool guys!

Gilbert Machado completed the course in a time of 48:08!

Ronald Souza rounded out the 70+ team with a time of 50:18.

Hot Chocolate Run 15K, 10K

Raul Carrillo ran the 15K in a time of 1:37; excellent work Raul very impressive!

Mariano Meza completed the 15K in a time of 1:51:17; ever improving Mariano keep it up!

Emily Huang finished the 10K in a time of 1:31; way to go Emily!

Thao Giang completed the 10K in a time of 1:15; strong start to the year Thao!

Thuc Tran smashed the 10K in 48:19; well done Thuc going sub 50 on a 10K; very impressive!

Vianey Ortiz ran a strong 10K to a time of 1:03; well done Vianey!

David Ortiz completed the 10K with a time of 1:20; great job David!

Megan Rodriguez ran a time of 1:38, congrats Megan!

Courtney Eldridge smashed the 15K with a time of 1:19; well done Courtney!

Jessica Rong matched Courtney with a time of 1:19; equally well done Jessica!

Lupe Rodriguez completed the 10K in a time of 51:45; great effort Lupe!

Richard King completed the 15K in a time of 1:42; great job Rich!

Ruben Rodriguez ran the 15K in a time of 1:12 earning 2nd place in his age group (60-64); way to kick off the year! Thank you again and as always for taking so many fantastic photos of the club Ruben.

Grant All Comers Track Meet January 24th & 31st

The annual Pre-season track meet open to all runners; with just a $10 entry fee you can run as many electronically timed events as your heart desires. The best value for running anywhere!

Mike Tiska – 3200m: 14:43, 1600m: 6:33, and 800m: 3:00. Great job Mike, running strong in all the events!

Ron Souza – 1600m: 7:43, 800m: 3:39; great job Ron way to show up and push yourself!

Andy Harris – 1600m:7:49, 7:36; well done Andy and you proved even in ideal conditions without any barriers, obstacles, or impediments running is still a very dangerous sport!
