Auburn Resolution Run 5K,10K, 10 Miles









Camel ran the 10K in a time of 1 hour and 36 minutes; way to start the year off right!
John Painting smashed the 10K course in a time of 1 hour and 7 minutes earning 3rd place in his age group (60-69); great job John!
Suzie Oyoung took on the long course (10 miles) completing it in a time fo 2 hours and 28 minutes to earn 3rd place in her age group (60-69); well done Suzie, way to represent!
Rich King blitzed the 10K in a time of 1 hour and 21 minutes; great job Rich way to ring in the new year strong!
USATF National Club Cross Country Championships 8K Tallahassee Florida


We fielded two teams to run the Club Cross Country Championships: a Mens 60+ team and a Men’s 70+ team.
The 60+ team was composed of Randy Anderson, John Painting, and Andy Harris.
The 70+ team was composed of David Howse, Mike Buzbee, Gil Machado, and Ron Souza.
Michael Tiska ran individually in the 50+ age group.
The 60 and 70 age group teams ran the 8K course with Mike Tiska running the 10K course.
The 60+ team came in 20th place with a score of 222 points.
The 70+ team came in 9th with 92 points.
The course was a 2 kilometer loop with 4 loops for the 8k and 5 loops for the 10K respectively.

The course while largely taking place on a rolling golf course did include an artificial hill known as the ‘rollercoaster’, adding to the challenge and spectacle of the race.

The team met Kenyan running legend Paul Tergat at the airport too! Very cool guys!

John Painting completed the race in a time of 41:41; congrats John!

David Howse the course well to run a time of 43:15; fastest of the 70+ team! Your focused and disciplined training is paying off well David; congrats!

Andy Harris ran a time fo 45:51; well done Andy!

Michael Buzbee ran an excellent tim of 46:04!

Gilbert Machado completed the course in a time of 48:08!

Ronald Souza rounded out the 70+ team with a time of 50:18.

Michael Tiska ran the 10K in a time of 52:31; well done Michael way to represent in Tallahassee Florida.

Hot Chocolate Run 15K, 10K

Raul Carrillo ran the 15K in a time of 1:37; excellent work Raul very impressive!

Mariano Meza completed the 15K in a time of 1:51:17; ever improving Mariano keep it up!

Emily Huang finished the 10K in a time of 1:31; way to go Emily!

Thao Giang completed the 10K in a time of 1:15; strong start to the year Thao!
Thuc Tran smashed the 10K in 48:19; well done Thuc going sub 50 on a 10K; very impressive!

Vianey Ortiz ran a strong 10K to a time of 1:03; well done Vianey!

David Ortiz completed the 10K with a time of 1:20; great job David!

Megan Rodriguez ran a time of 1:38, congrats Megan!

Courtney Eldridge smashed the 15K with a time of 1:19; well done Courtney!

Jessica Rong matched Courtney with a time of 1:19; equally well done Jessica!

Lupe Rodriguez completed the 10K in a time of 51:45; great effort Lupe!
Richard King completed the 15K in a time of 1:42; great job Rich!
Ruben Rodriguez ran the 15K in a time of 1:12 earning 2nd place in his age group (60-64); way to kick off the year! Thank you again and as always for taking so many fantastic photos of the club Ruben.









Grant All Comers Track Meet January 24th & 31st

The annual Pre-season track meet open to all runners; with just a $10 entry fee you can run as many electronically timed events as your heart desires. The best value for running anywhere!
Mike Tiska – 3200m: 14:43, 1600m: 6:33, and 800m: 3:00. Great job Mike, running strong in all the events!
Ron Souza – 1600m: 7:43, 800m: 3:39; great job Ron way to show up and push yourself!
Andy Harris – 1600m:7:49, 7:36; well done Andy and you proved even in ideal conditions without any barriers, obstacles, or impediments running is still a very dangerous sport!

Ron Souza ran the indoor mile to a time of 7:40 with an excellent kick at the end; well done Ron!


Zeb Kazi – Ran the 400m in a time of 64 seconds, setting a PR in the process!
